Job Title: Notre Dame AmeriCorps member

Supervisor Title: Depends on the site – could be a teacher or principal or a program director

Objective: Provide 11 months of community service helping students succeed in school and life, supporting adult learning, working with families in poverty.

• Earn $13,732 (about $900/month)
• Receive health insurance
• Get a childcare benefit, if qualified
• Earn Education Award (about $5,920)

Responsibilities:  

• It depends on the site selected. This will be discussed in initial meetings.

Qualifications: Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or actively working on GED

Time Commitment: About 35-40 hours per week.

Training and Meetings: Program begins in Sept 2019 with an orientation. Team members meet every 2 weeks for a day of training and leadership development.
