Dental Hygiene Workshop & Elementary Tutoring

In honor of Dental Health Month, this past February, Hope CommUnity Center’s Academic Support program held a collaborative workshop with students from Valencia College Dental Hygiene Program with the intention of educating elementary school students about the importance of a healthy smile. Each workshop was divided into two sections, the first involved 35 minutes of reading comprehension, while the remainder of the workshop consisted of proper dental care education.
