Journalist Maria Hinojosa Leads Discussion at HCC

Hope CommUnity Center is honored to have hosted a panel discussion on Florida Politics and the Latino Evangelical Vote. Award-winning journalist Maria Hinojosa led a discussion about voter engagement and was joined by Reverends Gabriel and Jeanette Salguero and DREAMer Maria Lozano.

The panelists were featured in “America By the Numbers“, a Futuro Media Group television series dedicated to exploring the influence that changing demographics has on the United States. Latino Evangelicals are “The New Deciders”; a voting bloc of six million Americans whose voting decisions have historically impacted elections and are expected to influence this upcoming election.
