A celebration of CommUnity and the transformative power of Hope.

Cheers to 50 years, here’s to many more.

Our Y Mucho Más Fiesta marks the beginning of new moments, where the power of transformation boosts our legacy of 50 years of service, support, advocacy and, above all, Hope. Last year, we celebrated five decades of the successful work of the Hope CommUnity Center.

This year, we’re embracing new moments and new experiences. Together, we can make a real difference in protecting our most vulnerable communities. Our goal is to promote personal transformation and develop future leaders who will positively impact the community.

Sisters Cathy Gorman, Gail Grimes, and Ann Kendrick were founding pillars, and now, Felipe Sousa-Lazaballet has become the cornerstone that will strengthen the future. Through his tireless work transforming and positively impacting the community, Felipe acts as a voice for those who endeavor to make significant changes through small actions.

This year, we invite you to celebrate an evening surrounded by friends. We invite you to toast new challenges, new experiences, and the new frontiers that we will cross as we continue defending those who need it most.

This is the beginning of a journey filled with Más Impact, Más Changes, Más Reach, Más Hope, Y Mucho Más!

Join us!

Más!” is “More!”
Hope is more than the past.
Hope is the future.

Our purpose still stands

Next year, we aim to accomplish Mucho Más!

At Hope CommUnity Center, the possibilities of transformation are endless. We believe in the power of growth and that we can always give more. That’s why we dedicate our efforts to those who need it most. With your help, Hope positively impacts programs in education, immigration, youth and family, service learning, community organizing, and social services. We’ve developed a 5-step plan to continue growing, transforming, and making a positive difference in the lives of marginalized communities.

Protection – Transformation – Hope CommUniversity – Mental Health & Wellness

  • Strengthen leadership structure, ensure advocacy, and maintain programs directly impacting marginalized communities.

  • Launch Hope CommUniversity, providing tools and skills through transformative training rooted in the community to drive personal growth and change.

  • Establish Hope commUnities throughout Florida, diversify Hope CommUniversity as a national and local training center, and organize the first annual conference for Hope commUnity leaders.

  • Increase participation of Hope communities at the polls, promote jobs that encourage individuals to obtain a driver’s license in Florida, and generate income to be invested in Hope CommUniversity.

  • Expand horizons and bring together local and national leaders from Hope CommUniversity to participate in creating new opportunities.

None of this is possible without you! Join us for Y Mucho Más!
